Thanks for Help with Kickoff BBQ; Volunteers Needed to Host Team Dinners

Thank you to all of our families for making the kickoff BBQ such a rousing success. All the athletes enjoyed a great late summer afternoon at Mount Vernon Park. Next up on the social calendar: team dinners.  Each year the XC team schedules several team dinners, usually held on a Friday before a meet. This year's dinners will be held on September 14, October 12 and Senior Night on October 19. The Rosenbergs will be hosting the Senior Night dinner, thank you! We need volunteer hosts for the other two events. The duties of a host are fairly straightforward: simply make your house available for the dinner, and other parents will bring all the food and also volunteer to help set up, chaperone, and clean up after the dinner. This year, Suzanne Dash has graciously offered to organize the team dinners. If you are interested in hosting on one of the dates listed above, please contact Suzanne at sldash1200@gmail.com.
