The Wolverines continue
to show progress during the 2012 cross-country season after several standout
performances during this week’s Quad Meet against West Springfield, W.T.
Woodson and Lake Braddock. The girls
were 4th and the boys finished 3rd and were both led by sophomores enjoying
their first season of cross country.

under 18 minutes (17:50). Sophomore Jeff
Rsycavage was nearly a minute faster than his performance from last year,
placing 17th overall with a time of 18:07.
Junior David Cate (19th, 18:12) and freshmen Ben Slobodin (20th, 18:28)
made sure that all top 5 scoring Wolverines were in the top 20. Cross country newcomers sophomore Alex
McDonald (21st, 18:29) and freshman John Whitney (25th, 18:39) had nice races
to round out the team’s top 7 for the day.
